Rare Disease Seminar – 13 September 2018

The National Alliance for Rare Disease Support – Malta organized the first ever Rare Disease Semimar on 13 September 2018 at Villa Francia, Lija, Malta. The seminar was in collaboration with the Malta BioBank, BBMRI.mt at the University of Malta where rare disease patients and their families together with researchers, healthcare providers, pharmacists, and nurses gathered together. Keynote speech was given by Sir Alastair Kent who spoke about the importance of giving rare disease patients ‘A Seat at the Table’.
