Mrs Michelle Muscat attended the Second Colloquium on Research in Rare Disease, which was held at the Malta Life Sciences Park, San Gwann on Friday, 26 February 2016.

The Colloquium was held under the patronage of Professor Godfrey LaFerla, Dean, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Professor Richard Muscat, Pro-Rector for Research of the University of Malta, The Hon. Dr Chris Fearne, Parliamentary Secretary, Health, and Mrs Michelle Muscat, Spouse of the Prime Minister and Chairperson of The Marigold Foundation and of The National Alliance for Rare Diseases Support – Malta.

This Colloquium was intended to present, in a lay context, the scope of the research being conducted at the University of Malta on a number of Rare Disorders for the benefit of patients and their families.
